Anita Mullick: New School Councillor in 2023
My name is Anita, Mum of Rose in 1GL (and Alfie, who will be starting at OGPS next year). I wanted to get involved in the school community and I thought the school council could be the perfect opportunity – I love making to-do lists as my family will tell you! Until recently I spent a fair bit of time helping to run Ocean Grove Toy Library but, since stepping down from the committee, I have some time on my hands to try something new. I also work in primary educational publishing so am passionate about education and literacy. I'm looking forward to learning more about our amazing school!
Mel Matherson (FMM Teacher)
What a pleasure it is to be a teacher at OGPS! I'm one of the Foundation teachers and I love teaching at this school because everyone is so friendly, and we have such a special school community. I live in Barwon Heads and love taking my two dogs, Hachi and Herbie for a walk on the beach with my partner Jarrod. I grew up in Ballarat and I have always loved to travel! I lived in London for 2 years, travelling around Europe when I could and spent a year travelling South and Central America- fishing for piranhas in the Amazon River and sledding down a volcano were definitely some highlights! I go crazy for Italian food, am a huge Taylor Swift fan and enjoy having a hit of tennis each week for Ocean Grove. It’s been a pleasure getting to know so many families here and I look forward to another great year with you all.
Thank you!! 😊
Mel
