Maths News

Year 1s have been exploring both some teen numbers and 2D shape over the past 2 weeks, having lots of fun along the way. 

We use concrete materials to make and model numbers in many different ways.

We have explored 2D shape in the school environment by looking for, drawing and labelling shapes we found outside. 

Students really enjoyed exploring the Pattern Shape App in class, as well as creating their own Guess My Shape game clues.

We love maths in Year 1!
