NEWS FROM 3/4J

3/4J have been learning about the Sun and Moon and Earth this term and decided to create an artwork to match.

Here are some fun facts we have learnt this term:

· It takes 365 days for the Earth to rotate around the sun.

· The moon takes 24 hours to rotate around the Earth.

· They sun is made up of gas.

· We only see one side of the moon.

· No females have been on the moon.

· A dog was sent into space.

· When it's night-time in Australia it is daytime for the other half of the world!

· The Earth is spinning all the time, but gravity stops us moving with it.

We have really enjoyed our learning this term1! How amazing does our art look!
