MURAL UPDATE
Years 2, 4 and 6 have been working hard at completing this mural full of mini beasts! They have shown attention to detail and incorporated bright and joyful colours. Year 1 will add their own details to the mural over the next week.

TOURNAMENT OF MINDS UPDATE
The Tournament of Mind trials have been held this term every Tuesday afternoon with Ms Higgins who will train and facilitate the chosen team this year. A team of seven students will be selected to compete in a spontaneous and long term challenge in the Regional Finals against other public schools in the Illawarra held at the University of Wollongong.
Students in Stage 3 that have put themselves forward to try out for a place in the team have been giving 100% effort, developing their creative and critical thinking skills, encouraging peers and sharing contagious enthusiasm as they take on challenging improvisational games and unique problems to solve. They have come up with some inventive ideas, extremely funny characters and responses to set challenges. Students that have tried out this Term should be incredibly proud of their generosity of spirit. It is an admirable quality and an attitude that will take them far in all areas of school and life. They have been a fun and wonderful bunch partaking in this activity and should be very proud of themselves!
