Interschool Rounds 2 & 3

Basketball (Remy 5/6A)

Defeated St Richards

At St Richards they didn’t have a girls team, so we combined with the Open team and we won, but it was a close game as we only won by one point. Everyone played well, LETS GO MARLBOROUGH, LETS GO!

Defeated Aislie Parklands PS

Last Friday  we played Ainslie Parklands PS, in basketball they did not have a girls team so our girls basketball team automatically qualified for the finals.  Since they did not have a girls team the open team and the girls team combined we won easily, 32 to 8, so overall the open basketball team also qualified for the finals.

We all played fairly, cooperatively and nicely. LETS GO MARLBOROUGH LETS GO!

Kanga 8s Marly 5/6B

Defeated St Richards &  Ainslie Parklands

Last Friday, Marlborough competed against St. Richards and Ainslie Parklands for Kanga 8’s. We defeated St. Richards first with a great and exciting win! But there was still one game to go. All we had to do was beat the Ainslie. After cheering and lots of sportsmanship, we won! Marlborough danced around in happiness with smiles on everyone’s faces. It was a fair and well played game. We thank the other schools for playing.
