2B COMMUNITY & CONNECTEDNESS

This Term in Inquiry we have been learning about community and connectedness. We have been learning about what a community is and how we are connected to other communities. 

We came up with the following:

A community is where everyone is together and being nice (Hayley)

A community is people getting along and having fun (Ellyse)

A community can be friends or family or even your teachers (Isabella)

We can be connected to a place by having family there (Regan)

Sometimes we can be connected to a place by visiting there (Finley)

Being born somewhere else can connect us (Harper)

Sometimes food can connect us (Moe)

Water and rivers can connect one place to another (Nikolai)

Congratulations to Jamie Lightfoot for receiving a certificate of recognition from Aussie of the Month for outstanding active citizenship in our school community.

Our students love the amazing library space created by Mrs Bevan.
