Wild Action - Rockpool Discovery

So many of the children at Plenty Kids this year are very, very interested in animals and, in particular, sea animals so, in keeping with our Plenty Kids Philosophy that states: Active learning through play is facilitated through the provision of a range of opportunities, environments and experiences built thoughtfully around the individual strengths, ideas and interests of each child. 

We had Chris Humphries (from his company Wild Action) – bring to Plenty Kids sea creatures that dwell in rockpools! The incursion was called Rockpool Discovery. We got to learn all about and get up close and personal with sea stars, biscuits, cucumbers, crabs, octopuses (even a blue-ringed octopus), sea urchins, seahorses and a little penguin!
