Year 10 Work Experience

As part of their Managed Individual Pathways work, all Year 10 students participated in a week of work experience. The purpose of the program is to help students experience the world of work, and to help them make choices about possible careers leading  up to course selection next term. Students participated in a wide range of jobs, such as retail, law, education and the trades. Thanks to Ms Cathy Armstrong and her team, as well as the Year 10 English and Maths teachers for supporting the students to fulfil all the requirements of this program.

Year 10 proactive Programs Week

This program focused on building stronger connections between students across the year level with a focus on resilience building. Students explored what it means to feel connected, protected and respected as a member of the College community and were engaged in a wide variety of activities and learning experiences across the three days.

100 Days of VCE success

On Wednesday, 19 June the Year 11 cohort celebrated 100 days of success. This was marked with an awards ceremony and celebrations for all of the Year 11 cohort during the afternoon.  Students and staff enjoyed celebrating the particular success some students had achieved in individual subjects and a mesmerising performance was given by a magician.  A student performed a rap, the Year 11 Band and VET Music class performed and the VET Hospitality class made the celebration cakes.  Congratulations to all our Year 11 students on reaching this milestone in the final part of their secondary school journey.  We wish them well for the next eighteen months as they complete their final years at school.  Well done to the senior sub school team for organising such a wonderful annual event.
