Farewell

Flying buildings were seen at Fairhills over the summer break!

In only 2 hours one of our portable classrooms disappeared, when a large crane lifted the building in 3 pieces, past trees and other obstacles and on to waiting semi trailers.

We continued our classroom refresh program over the break, and refurbished A6; we removed tired old benches and replaced the carpet after repainting the room.  We have achieved a lot with this program in 2015, fully refurbishing 3 classrooms, painting 8 others and updating furniture in many areas.  You can expect more upgrades throughout 2016 as the program continues.

There were  a number of room changes over the breake enabling the establishment of  a Student Wellbeing Centre in R1 &R2.  The centre consolidates our wellbeing staff and facilities  to provide a relaxed space focussed on supporting our students.
