At Fairhills, our students are challenged academically to reach their full potential, as well as prepared to be successful 21st Century citizens and life-long, self-directed learners.

Our library team works to accomplish this goal throughout the year by supporting the teachers and curriculum, as well as promoting children's literacy.

During the past two weeks, library staff have been conducting classes in collaboration with the English teachers, for students to choose novels for the Year 7 & 8 Reading Program.

Students choose 4-6 books to add to the Trolley, and time is given during their English classes for quiet reading.

To promote some of our new books, library staff put up a new colourful display to coincide with Valentine's Day.....

Friday 8.30am to 3.45pm

- 1st half for Senior/VCE Private study

- 2nd half for all students
