Year 5/6 ANZAC Bike Ride 2019

Despite testing weather conditions, we persisted with our annual Anzac bike ride last Friday, with all of the children showed fantastic resilience and enthusiasm to complete as much of the ride as they could. It certainly gave all of us a very small taste of what the Australian soldiers may have endured in terms of weather conditions.

A huge thanks must go to our brilliant parent helpers, who showed amazing endurance and managed to keep smiling the entire trip!

Thank you to our dedicated Year 5/6 staff, including Bek and Rick who volunteered their time to assist us throughout the day.

I think we were all grateful for the wind conditions on the trek back, pushing us home!
