Thanks to all staff involved - especially Miss Thornton, Mrs Domaschenz and Frau Ervin Ward for all their hard work behind the scenes and also a big thank you to Miss Shuttleworth and Miss Fry who stayed the night with the Year 2's. Thanks also goes to the Duke of Edinburgh students and parent helpers who also assisted in making the event a memorable one for all the F/1/2 children. Here are some reviews from the F/1/2 students.

Year 3/4 Classroom Teacher
There is no doubt that Term 3 has been a challenging one for students in the Year 3 & 4 class. However, since the redeployment of Ms Emma Wallace and Mrs Katherine Neall to the classroom a bit of stability has returned. As many of you will be aware, however, we have continued our endeavour to find a permanent replacement for Ms Duncan.
On that note we have excellent news. As of the first day of Term 4 we will welcome Ms Simone Bruce (currently of Roxburgh Homestead Primary School – in northern Melbourne) to the Edenhope College staff team. Simone is a primary teacher with a number of years’ experience and has secured the ongoing position of primary teacher at Edenhope College after a thorough interview process. We look forward to her coming on board in our primary area very soon.
Due to the stable situation in the class at the moment, we don’t expect to remove Ms Wallace from the class immediately. The Leadership Team at the College have therefore made the decision to keep Emma in the class for now, and to have Simone work alongside Emma (in a team-teaching arrangement) for the foreseeable future. Simone will, however, take the students in their Humanities, Science and Health classes.
I thank Mrs Katherine Neall and Mr Trevor McClure for their significant efforts in taking on board the extra work related to those subjects throughout Term 3.
Of course we regret that this class has had so much disruption over the past term. However, we feel we have made the best arrangements with the resources available, and are sure that, with the joint work of both Simone and Emma, the Year 3 & 4 class will finish the year strongly.
