Religious Education and Inquiry
Next week, some of the Year 4 students will celebrate their First Communion. Recently, the students learned about the importance of the Eucharist. We spoke about the reasons why we eat the Body of Christ and the Blood of Christ.
The students were given the opportunity to think about why they were making their First Communion and what it meant to them. Here are some of their responses.
In Inquiry, the students came together to solve a problem without using their words. They had to move a hula hoop all the way around a circle by using teamwork. They had the added pressure of completing the task while being timed. While it seemed to be an easy task they found it challenging and had to work together to overcome any obstacles.
