Message from the Principal

Term 2 has started well and it is wonderful to see life as we know it, slowly returning to normal.

The school continues to grow with 3 new families joining us this Term: Hasan and Ruby both in Year 6 and William in Year 4. I warmly welcome them and their families to our community.

Also, I welcome a new staff member to our school, Gina Chiodo who joins our Learning Support Team. We now have 5 members on our Learning Support Team who run our very successful Early Intervention Program. Our teamwork to support students either in small groups or through one on one support.

I continue to conduct school tours every day and so far this year I have completed 25 individual tours with 11 confirmed enrolments already for Prep for next year. Our transition program for Prep 2022 will commence shortly in Term 3. This program promotes an early connection with our school to ensure a smooth transition into Prep the following year. The students and their families are regularly invited into our school to experience a session with one of our teachers.

If you know of anyone who still hasn't decided on a school for next year, please encourage them to come and look at St Bridget's, as word of mouth from our own community is the most powerful.

Recently, we upgraded 2 of our playground shade sails which were in great need of repair. Thank you to Shade Sail Services in Somerville for their excellent service.

Wishing all our Mums, Grandmothers, and special friends a very Happy Mother's Day!

Kind regards

Robyn Thomson
