COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 School Impact

At this stage, there is very little adjustment to regional schools and how we are currently running:

All adults on site are to carry a mask, and utilise in cases where social distancing can't be obtained / managed.

The only space requiring number restrictions, is administration sign in areas ie for us that is 4 adults maximum.

You will notice bollards in our space to manage movement of general public vs students and staff.

If you have any questions, please contact our office.  As always, I will keep you posted with updates, based on fact, the moment they come to hand.

Please don't be alarmed by media or social media hype & hysteria.

Capital Works Family Sessions

Over the past two weeks I offered a morning and evening session, to update families on our capital works project, including the plans and implications of learning moving forward.

Thank you to the families who attended either session, and engaged in meaningful and thought provoking conversations about the numerous opportunities this will present.

I hope you found the sessions informative and helpful.

School Photos

Tomorrow, Thursday 27 May, are our annual school photos.  Please have students groomed and dressed in full uniform!

Year 4 Wyuna Camp / Somers

All the best to our excited Year 4 students heading to camp "Wyuna" in Queenscliff, next Wednesday to Friday.  It's an exciting time, having not had camps in 2020, we can't wait to see the positive impact it will have on all our students.

Welcome back to Mrs Riddoch and our Somers Campers, who have just enjoyed 9 days at Somers.  I can't wait to hear their stories and experiences.  I think we will have a share session at next week's assembly from the participating students.

I acknowledge the First Peoples of the Wathaurong, who are the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which I work and live, and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
