Remote Learning

As a result of the State Government’s seven day snap lockdown, threre will be a Pupil Free Day tomorrow and all schools will return to Remote Learning from Monday.  All communications regarding our school’s plans will be on Compass.

We wish our community well during this latest evolution of our COVID-19 world and lifestyle. At school we have been following the mantra ‘be kind to yourself’ and encourage you to extend that to your homes.

National Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week

National Sorry Day, or the National Day of Healing, is an annual event that has been held in Australia on 26 May since 1998.  The event remembers and commemorates the mistreatment of the country's Indigenous peoples, as part of an ongoing process of reconciliation between the Indigenous peoples and the settler population.

Croydon Hills Primary School acknowledges the importance of this day and the National Reconciliation Week as an opportunity to reflect on the history, culture and strength of our First Nations people.

We can all play as part of the healing process for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and our nation. Over the course of the week and next week students will engage in learning and the development of a greater understandings. More on Reconsiliation Week can be found at:
