New Bike Racks

105 new bike racks to be installed!

Many of our families and students would be aware of the ongoing issues we have regarding limited bike rack storage onsite. We are pleased to inform you that we have been working very hard to increase the amount of available bike racks for students to securely store their bikes. Last week 70 new bike racks were installed in a number of locations, including the front and back of the main building, back of C Block, areas around D block portables. 

We still have another 35 bike racks to install which we hope to have ready for first day back Term 3. The 105 new bike racks allows for 210 additional bikes to be stored onsite, taking our total bike racks storage to a capacity of approximately 360 bike storage locations. 

Please remember to always lock your bike within the school grounds with a heavy duty lock. We have been working with Northcote Police who have increased patrols of the school and neighboring streets. They have also offered to come and engrave student bikes for free at the end of this month. Stay tuned for details.
