Problem Solving in Maths at AGPS 

As a part of our curriculum day, all staff participated in a whole day professional learning session about designing open-ended problem-solving tasks in Maths that could be used across the school.  Teaching teams participated and attempted tasks from a students perspective, identified and analysed the strategies required and discussed how the task/s could be modified or extended in order to cater for all learners.  During the week students across different year levels successfully solved similar tasks.
