From the Assistant Principal

From Mrs Hopkins' loungeroom...

Last week, we sent a sample of 80 families a survey regarding their experiences with remote and flexible learning. Thank you to those families for taking part. Your feedback has provided our team with invaluable information regarding the time your child spends on learning tasks, and how we can continue to build and innovate in the ways we provide learning. It was particularly gratifying to hear about how valuable our Webex classes have been. As teaching and support teams we have looked at your feedback and taken many factors into account for planning the rest of the Term. You may notice some subtle changes in our programs over the next week or so that reflects this feedback.

As the colleague of all of our amazing teachers and support staff - I was particularly thrilled to share with them the many positive comments you had regarding your gratitude and recognition of the hard work that the whole Kalinda Team is doing to ensure that our learning journey continues.

A personal note...

Dear Parents,  Carers, Staff and Children,

Everything you are doing is enough. Please be kind to yourself and each other. Sometimes our patience frays and our minds wander to 'am I doing enough?'

Are you connecting with school in some way? Are you caring for the people around you? Then please take it from me, you are my Remote Learning Hero this week.
