Remote Learning Resources
Literacy - Our Library resources are now available
We have exciting Library news this week. To assist families with accessing physical books, we have decided to open our Library! To ensure the safety of all, the following procedures are in place for Library use:
Students/families can browse our Library virtually through https://stcolumba.functionalsolutions.com.au
Students/families will email any books they would like to borrow to leveritt@scelwood.catholic.edu.au . Orders are due on Tuesdays by 3.30pm
We will collect the books you have ordered, borrow them in your name and place them in a named ziplock bag. If the book you would like is unavailable, you will receive an email informing you of this. You may like to select another book.
These books will be available for collection the following week (please see the schedule below)
Books ordered need to be collected between 11am-1pm. You will need to access the school via the car park and enter via the back staffroom door. We ask that you observe social distancing and do not attend the collection if you are experiencing any symptoms on COVID-19.
Books will be on loan for two weeks (see schedule below) If you need an extension on the loan please email leveritt@scelwood.catholic.edu.au . Please note the time of returns and again you will need to access the school via the car park. We also ask that books be returned in their original ziplock bag.
Books will be sanitized upon return.

We will assess how the Library borrowing system is working and release future dates at a later stage.
Of course, whether you chose to use the Library or not, we also encourage you to make use of online books. There are lots and lots of books available online. We recommend you use the following:

This padlet contains information about the resources we are utilizing as a school during this time and suggested apps/resources you may like to use at home in addition to the daily tasks set by teachers. The padlet is not static and evolving regularly. We will continue to add to it as new resources/subscriptions become available.
