Online learning

We have had another successful week of remote learning in ⅚. It was so exciting to see everyone during our Zoom sessions. We are starting to learn to take turns when talking on Zoom so that everyone can hear us clearly. 

For inquiry we have started to delve deeper into sustainable building practices. We watched an episode of Grand Designs about an Eco Lodge. This is Lincoln’s reflection after watching the episode:

I think Chris and Linda probably inspired many people to build sustainable and cheap homes. This video shows that anyone can build whatever they want as long as they put their mind and their effort into it.

Even though this video might be old it can still tell others that we have to at least give building sustainable 1 shot and see what our opinions are, but I definitely think that most people would love to have a house like this because it has at least 1 thing you'd like in it. Maybe the garden was your favourite part or maybe it was the sustainable indoor heating method, but sustainable houses could also impact the future by making everyone realise the bad things that are happening in the world and that sustainable houses will make a change and could save many lives.
