Consents & Payments for Excursions & Events - COMPASS

To secure your child's participation in any organised school activity such as excursions, incursions, sports events or camps please ensure that all consents and associated payments are completed via the Compass Parent Portal before the due date. Once the due date has past, Compass access to consent/pay for the event is automatically disabled and can no longer be extended.

Should consent/payments not be received your child will not be able to take part in the scheduled activity and alternative supervision at school will be arranged.

Due dates are typically set for a week prior to the event, to ensure that there is time to confirm numbers and final costs with outside companies and allow  time for teachers to prepare for the activity.

If your child cannot attend any planned event, please email the office so they can be removed from the event reminders.

Year 6 News

Year 6 Life Saving Program

We’ve been waiting so long for this moment, all the year sixes have done it in the past, and it was finally our turn. On the 11th of February, the year sixes went to Hampton beach. It was our first lesson and we were all ready to go. We worked in teams on various activities and each one taught us a different life saving skill. We participated in many activities such as, the flag race, nipper boarding, safety lessons, and much more. We loved the first day and we were so excited about what was next to come. The next day, we went to Elwood beach to participate in activities requiring teamwork. These activities included relay races, triathlons, obstacle courses and even a game of baseball! The year sixes had a lot of fun on this excursion. We learnt what to do when you’re stuck in a rip, how to save a victim and how to be safe on the sand. We were working on our hands and knees in the sand activities and we were sailing the waves in the water. We would like to thank the instructors for showing us these important skills to keep us safe in the water.
