5/6 Science Expo

At the end of Term Three, we shared their science learning about renewable energy with the younger students. As a part of this project, students researched, refined note taking skills and developed publishing skills.

5/6  Yarning Conference-Writing Focus

In the lead up to the Yarning Conference, 5/6 students have been investigating the author’s intent of the “Uluru Statement of the Heart”. We have had many discussions about why authors write the way they do, and how it makes the reader/audience feel. These hearts are some of the students’ thoughts and feelings about the statement and how that links with this year’s NAIDOC theme, “Voice, Treaty, Now”.
