Dickens Room
We have had a fantastic first week of Kinder for 2021, both the Wimbi class and the Marram class have explored the opportunities and resources within the room, creating connections with their peers and having lots of exciting moments of laughter and wonder!
We have spent time learning new songs, engaging in simple games, reading lots of stories and getting used to the routines and transitions that come with being at Kinder.
Our Marram class was even fortunate to have an impromptu story read from our Principal, Kim Streitberger!
We hope that everyone has had a wonderful, restful weekend! We are excited for our second week together.

Moore Room
What a wonderful full week of kinder we have had as we settle into the rhythm of our days, getting to know each other, and our environment. The children have been very settled and there is much joy and happiness in the room.
We have been very busy with pasting, painting, creating with manipulative construction and some great dramatic play in the café. Outdoors the children have been using large body movements as they master the play equipment, with swings being quite the favourite. We have had some great recipe’s shared in the sandpit and mud patch, great truck work in the pebble pit and some children setting up an environment for some ‘tadpoles’ in these sensory areas with some fantastic sharing of ideas.
We will be exploring Chinese New Year and Cristina, our language teacher, will have much to offer around this topic as well as some art experiences and setting a restaurant theme.
Have a fantastic week.
