Not to be confused with actual warnings that trigger a response to a real fire in the landscape

Readiness: Emotional Prearedness

•Emotional or psychological preparedness is an important step in our overall readiness for the fire season, and can help us in sticking to our plans and remaining calm under pressure.

•While we often focus on the tangible mitigation and preparedness actions, we should also take some time to understand our natural tendencies and responses to stressful situations, and learn how to manage those feelings to assist us during fires and other emergencies.
