CUCINIAMO ALL'ITALIANA
What a fantastic week we had!
A special cooking week was scheduled for Grade 3&4s and 5&6s to wrap up our Italian programs and have the opportunity to be in action during these "hands-on" lessons.
Students cooked two Italian traditional and iconic recipes from scratch:
LE BRUSCHETTE AL POMODORO and IL PESTO ALLA GENOVESE.
For the last one though, we decided not to include any pine nuts, to keep everybody safe.
It was an amazing experience: students had lots of fun, they showed safe food handling, collaborated well with their teams and were very brave trying different types of food.
