Around Grade 5/6

Graduation 2020

On Tuesday, 15th December, the Grade 6 students will be graduating as the ACPS Class of 2020. Thank you for your patience in our shifting plans as we work within guidelines to create a COVID safe environment.

This night begins with students meeting at school from 5.45 pm when there will be ample opportunity for students and their friends to be photographed by parents. 

Dinner will be served outdoors at approximately 6:15pm. Parents do not attend the dinner, students are supervised by the teachers. If your child has any dietary requirements, please complete the online form as a matter of priority https://forms.gle/SHVXDLvFmDarCpPA9 

Parents are to be seated in the Performing Arts Centre over two ceremonies.

• Year 6H and Year 6S parents at 7pm
• Year 6A and Year 6B parents at 7:40pm 
• All students will be present for both ceremonies.

We will acknowledge all academic award winners at both ceremonies, but present the graduation certificates to the classes whose parents are in attendance. We aim to conclude the evening by no later than 8:30pm.

Each graduate can bring two (2) guests, which will keep the gathering under 150 participants. Families will need to sign in and wear masks, as directed by the Victorian Government COVID response. 

For family members with limited mobility, we can reserve seating at the front. Please just let Jo Metcalfe at the office know beforehand.

Dress code for the students is smart casual, whatever they feel comfortable in.
