Aladdin meets Warrandyte

ACPS is proud to put on a production every second year with our last one being 2019 and our next one due in 2021. With no school production in 2020, Gavin D. Andrew stepped in to offer his own private production of Aladdin as an option for ACPS students who wanted to further hone their drama skills outside of school hours.

The original plan was for a traditional live production with shows to be held in the ACPS theatre during December. Melbourne's second lockdown put an end to that idea and Aladdin was reborn as a movie with a very Warrandyte theme.

The children (and adults) have been hard at work in the recording studio and on location around the Warrandyte area and filming is set to finish in the next two weeks with the movie due for release in mid-December.

Screening details will be provided soon. We can't wait to see the finished product and to help support a local silver-screen production featuring some very talented students.
