Fairfax Youth Initiative - FYI Storytellers in 2021

Congratulations to Nell!

Nell has been selected to be one of the FYI Storytellers in 2021!

Red Cliffs Secondary College has always been a school committed in its participation to the annual Fairfax Festival held in Swan Hill. Usually, the festival runs over a few days involving a small group of Drama students from various schools. Obviously because of Covid-19, there was no hope of gathering one hundred students together from regional Victoria. As an alternative, the organisers offered a unique opportunity for students to express an interest in a writing workshop which would then lead to the production of a short film. Nell Banks Purcell has been successful in obtaining a place in this venture, she will reap the benefits of working alongside experts in the world of theatre and stage. Well done Nell!
