Aspire not to have more, but to be more - Saint Oscar Romero

Dear Families,

It has been wonderful to see all the children embracing their new classes, new teachers and new class mates.  For some this would have been a difficult time, but we have been so proud of all our students who have taken on the year with enthusiasm.

The Foundation grade has been busy familiarising themselves with school life and are having rest days on Wednesdays for the month of February.

For our middle and senior students, it has been a busy start to the school year with the swimming program kicking off last week.  Next week will see the finish of the swimming program.  Our House Swimming Sports for the grades 3-6 students is tomorrow at the Korumburra Pool.  Good luck to everyone and as always, do your best to support your team.    Good news!!  We have confirmation that parents can now attend the sports to cheer on the children.  Please wear a mask and do your best to social distance. A reminder to please not buy food or drink from the canteen for your child/ren. We ask that you respect the schools protocol regarding this.  Sports commence at 9.30am at the Korumburra Pool in Williams Street.

Parent Teacher interviews will be held Tuesday 23rd & Wednesday 24th

3.30 - 5.30.  Interviews will be via a phone call that are booked on PAM. Bookings will open on PAM a week prior to these dates.

Please ensure that you are available on the number you have provided, to take our call at your booked time.  Interview calls are restricted to 10 minutes only.  As you can appreciate, teachers will have many calls to make during these times.  If you feel you may need longer, please contact your child's team.

SCHOOL FEES

School fees accounts will be sent home soon.  There are still a few outstanding accounts to be paid from 2020.  If your family is not on a payment plan, unpaid 2020 school fees would be appreciated as soon as possible please.

DO YOU HOLD A Centrelink HEALTH CARE CARD/PENSION CARD?   IF SO YOU SHOULD BE ELIGIBLE TO CLAIM THE CSEF (Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund) and therefore be eligible for a considerable subsidy off your school fees.   We encourage anyone who holds a card to let the school know and we can talk you through it.

If you already hold a current HCC/pension card and have not claimed before, please contact the school or fill out the application form that is attached below and send back to school with a copy of your card as soon as possible.  Having a HCC/Pension Card  gives you access to a considerable subsidy off your school fees.

An application form can be downloaded below.  Please contact the office if you have any questions or request a hard copy of the application form.
