Wellbeing

At OLSC we believe that the student is at the heart of all learning and teaching and that the promotion of their wellbeing is necessary to achieve success.  It is brought to life through the actions, interactions and attitudes of all community members. The experience of belonging, connectedness and community is essential for wellbeing to thrive. At OLSC we support the experience of belonging by creating welcoming, inviting, consistent and predictable learning environments and working in partnership with our families

Our Wellbeing curriculum includes programs such as Respectful Relationships, Berry Street Education Model, Circle Time and Positive Behaviours for Learning.

All programs aim to create a strong culture of wellbeing within the learning spaces and across the school to maximise learning and teaching.

We have high expectations for all our students & use our Positive Behaviours for Learning matrix to help us all shine.

This year we have created a wellbeing hub at OLSC. This is a calming place where students can come for a chat, chill out, learn to work with & interact with others.

As wellbeing leader for 2021 I am available to all students & families.  Feel free to email me at: shenderson@olscwyn.catholic.edu.au or the call the school office.

Cheers
