Hope tote bags designed by Kilvington students

Look at these wonderful tote bags designed by Lolly Seligmann in Year 11 and Myrah Bhargava in Year 4. The tag line on each bag reads: 'Hope lies between the pages of a book' and was written by Maya Wimalasundera in Year 8.

Bags are just $15 and are perfect for library books, a day out or as a shopping bag.

All profits support the @IndigenousLiteracyFoundation, a national book industry charity dedicated to lifting literacy levels in remote Indigenous communities, so all children across Australia have the same choices and opportunities.

You can order your bags here. Bags ordered online* will be delivered to the students shortly after the order is placed.

School TV - Friendship and Belonging

Learning how to make new friends and keep them involves a number of skills every young person needs to understand and develop. For some these skills will come very naturally, allowing them to easily move between different friendship groups, sharing their experiences and opening up to new people. For others, this can be much harder to navigate.

In this edition of SchoolTV, adult carers can learn how to support their young person’s friendship so that they experience a sense of belonging.

Here is the link to this month's edition.
