Youth Ministry Morning Tea
Morning tea was on us last week, as members of the St Joseph's College Year 10 Youth Ministry classes hosted parishioners in the College Hall.
Designed to bring parishioners back together, after long periods of COVID lockdowns, students enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people and discuss different aspects of their life with them.
Students did a great job organising everything from the menu, decorations and music to be played during the morning tea.
A wonderful morning tea was had by all in attendance, and we thank the parishioners and staff who were able to attend and share the morning with us.
Mentone Kildare Ministry Leadership Day
Earlier this month, St Joseph's College students were lucky enough to join their fellow Kildare Ministry cousins at Kilbreda College in Mentone, for a workshop on social justice.
Taking focus on issues of Indigenous reconciliation, the Year 10 leaders discussed topics such as treaty and heard insights from Indigenous man, Adam Magennis.
It was a great day and our leaders returned home with many valuable lessons about how we can be caring people of action back in our own community.
