Senior Mentors/Tutors

The age difference between our senior and junior students presents a unique opportunity for mentorship and tutoring!

At the beginning of this year a dozen senior school students offered their time to support some junior students through tutoring of the core subjects particularly English, Maths, HASS and Science. These students have been meeting after school for an hour in the library or senior floor to work together on homework, assignments, revising content or even extension! While it took a little while to get off the ground, we have already seen fruit from these tutor/mentor relationships. 

Due to the success of the program there is now a small waiting list for senior mentor/tutors. If you are or know a Senior School student interested in supporting younger colleagues and adding tutoring experience to their resumes, please contact Mr Nick Rodda at nick.rodda407@schools.sa.edu.au.
