Capital Works Update

We have finally had the last stage of the Capital Works redevelopment handed back to the school. Within the Performing Arts Centre we are installing the ICT infrastructure, installing curtains to the new stage and finalising two additional toilets. It is anticipated that drama, music and dance students will move into the new facilities either for the beginning of Semester 2 or the beginning of Term 3. We will see our first performance in the 240 seat theatre on Wednesday 6 July with our music ensemble and soloists performing. One of our Year 9 drama classes used the new drama collaborate space on 16 and 17 June.

Once everything is finalised, our new administration area will become operational. This will see all visitors to the school sign into the school through our new reception. The new area is adjacent to our new finance office. Whilst the significant redevelopment has been completed we will move onto some other improvements in the school which have been on hold. This includes the construction of a new retaining wall and garden area on Taylors Road West adjacent to the Advance Technology area, the construction of a new grounds shed and some upgrading of toilets.
