On Monday 16 and 23 May we held Year Level Assemblies for Year 10, 11 and 12 for the first time in 2022 following reduced COVID-19 restrictions.

The purpose of these assemblies was to recognise the academic achievements of our students in their Term 1 reports and to acknowledge students for demonstrating our School Values of Respect, Care, Compassion and Honesty.

Although all students and staff had to wear masks and sit spaced apart, it was lovely for staff and students to gather together to congratulate students’ efforts from Term 1.

I was particularly pleased to see Year 10 Care Group teachers read out the reason they nominated students from their Care Group, demonstrating our schools respectful culture.

Well done to Alicia Dean (Year 10 Leader), Julie Mohtasham (Year 11 Leader) and Hayley Baker (Year 12 Leader) for organising such positive assemblies.
