Spotlight on Literacy 

Each fortnight a different grade will be in the SPOTLIGHT sharing Literacy inside the classrooms! 

Welcome to Literacy in Year 1

This Term in Year 1, students have been working hard during CAFE Reading Rotations. Students participate in the following rotations; read to teacher, listen to reading, read to self, work on writing and word work. They thoroughly enjoy these activities as they improve their literacy skills!  

Year 1 have also been learning about how to write persuasive texts. They worked in groups to write about which fruit is the best and shared their very persuasive writing with the class.
