FRONT COVER:
The Learning Support Sensory Program in action! Students exploring the wide variety of sensory materials and activities which Southern has available in our sensory space.
NAPLAN testing is underway and will continue until Friday 20th May, for Grade 3, 5, 7 and 9 students.
Required for NAPLAN
All Grade 7 and 9 students are required to bring a fully charged laptop and a set of headphones/earbuds (NOT bluetooth) for NAPLAN.
Students who forget their earbuds will be provided with a set and parents will be invoiced for them.

A reminder that Term 1 school fees are now overdue.
Camp/Activities Day Adjustments
For families with children in secondary grades, your term 2 fee invoice will include an adjustment for the camp fee you were invoiced in term 1 plus any adjustment required for the cost of the term 1 activities. For some grades this will be a small charge, for others a credit to your account.

All attendees will be required to have completed the required College Volunteer process and to sign in at the office on each occasion. Please contact the College office for more information - admin@scc.tas.edu.au
The winter uniform is required to be worn for Terms 2 and 3. There is a transition period for the first two weeks of Term 2 so that on warmer days the summer uniform may still be worn. Hats do not need to be worn in terms 2 and 3.
PYP and MYP students may wear the soft shell jackets with the PE uniform and PYP students (only) may wear it with the dress uniform, for extra warmth.
DP students may wear their soft shell jackets on non-assembly days.

Additional Winter Items
All secondary students are required to wear masks at school (including on our buses).This is not optional unless you have a medical exemption as this is a Tasmanian Public Health Requirement.
The rules for schools and mask wearing has not changed.
The College has a supply of masks available if you are unable to supply them from home, but we ask that secondary parents help reiterate to your children the requirement to wear a mask at school.
