  1. What are your main tasks?  Getting cattle in yard, yard wok, giving injections, checking cattle, gardening.
  2. What hours do you work?  7am-4pm
  3. How many people do you work with?  3
  4. What is the best part of the work that you are doing?  Getting the experience of working with cattle, being able to give injections and working in the yards.                                                                                                                          
  5. What is your least favourite task and why?  Gardening because I don’t really have an interest in it.
  6. Do you think that being at the Ag school has helped with the work that you are doing?  Yes
  7. Why (what skills that you have learned have helped you – welding, auto, farm etc)?  Being up at beef and getting to learn the basics first and then getting challenged more.

 

2nd Semester Placements for Work Experience

 

Students are due to commence their 2nd placements for work experience in week 10 this term.  If you have not already returned your paperwork or spoken to Mrs Raper, please do so by Tuesday 14th June.
