Compassionate Jesus, I remember your gentle invitation to "Come...and be refreshed."
I bring you now all my worries, fears, needs and doubts.
I entrust to you my loved ones, both living and deceased.
Enfold us all in your love, now and evermore. Amen.
Congratulations to all the children who made their First Eucharist last week. Their dedication and commitment to making this Sacrament was nothing short of amazing. We are very proud of the reverence they showed throughout the preparation and in receiving this special sacrament.
A special mention must go to the parents, teachers and parish community who helped prepare these children for this occasion.
This term our Year 6 students will be participating in the annual Religious Education Test on Friday 24th June (Week 9 ).
Real Talk provide seminars, reflection days and up-to-date resources to young people on topics relating to identity, eSafety, relationships, love, sex and marriage. They speak to over 30,000 students each year and present parent nights in schools nationally.
Real Talk has been a huge success in previous years and the team has been booked for the first week in August to present a variety of topics to our Year 4 and Year 6 students.
Please refer to the attached flyer for details on how parents can access an online parent session. The sessions are open to our whole school parent community however we strongly encourage parents of Year 4 and Year 6 students to view and be a part of one of the four parent online sessions listed in the flyer.
On Sunday 5th June, we celebrated Pentecost. This is the day that the Holy Spirit was sent to the disciples. The disciples felt the strong wind around them, had flames of fire dancing on their heads and were able to speak in many different languages. Pentecost is celebrated on the seventh Sunday after Easter
This is the Sunday after Pentecost where we honour the Holy Trinity—the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Trinity is often described as a holy mystery beyond complete human understanding - the essence of God expressing himself in three persons.
Please join our Parish to celebrate the Eucharist. Our Parish offers three Mass times every weekend.
Saturday - 5.30pm
Sunday - 9.00am and 5.30pm
