Music, Dance and Drama

On the 21st of March, we held our junior school Stomp Dance Presentation. This was an opportunity for students in Prep, Grade One and Two to showcase their learning in Stomp dance classes over the last month.

Some students were quite nervous about performing in front of an audience but were so proud of themselves when they had finished. Well done to all our students. You did a fantastic job! We were overwhelmed by the brilliant turn out by our school community and the students loved performing for such an enthusiastic audience.

We acknowledge the work of our Stomp dance teacher, Kira, who delivered a rich and engaging program. A big thank you to all the staff who contributed to the running of the event, particularly our Prep, Grade One and Grade Two teachers and ESOs. Thank you also to those people that stayed back to help with the pack up. Congratulations to our Performing Arts Captains, Kyra and Xander who did an outstanding job hosting!.

In Performing Arts next term, our focus will be on music. Students will learn fundamental music theory and play a range of instruments.
