Did you Know?

In 2001, the Marian College annual Athletics Carnival was held at Sassella Park.  It was a day of the traditional track and field events and novelty races including the three-legged and sack events.  Rosa Martic, the then Marian Health and Physical Education Coordinator said the emphasis of the day was participation, having fun and supporting the four house colours – Clonard (yellow), Iona (red), Kildare (blue) and Tara (green).
