Talent Search 2015

On the 23 November, students from Kew High School attended the Science Talent Search award ceremony for 2015. My entry was a video game called Reflective. The idea was you would reflect beams of light off mirrors to reach a plant so it could grow and you could move onto the next level. For this project my partner, Lachlan Sayer, and I won a minor bursary award. The other student that attended was Evan Nelson. His entry was a creative writing piece about infrared and ultraviolet light. For this entry he won a major bursary award. The day started with an opening ceremony where the school winners were announced from around the state of Victoria. When that was completed we got the chance to look at all the winning entries for 2015. At 12:30 we had a ceremony where all the winners for our categories were presented with their cheques and the students that got a major bursary award got a medal. The day was a great success and thank you to the sponsors of the Science Talent Search and Miss Brown for taking us.
