INTERNATIONAL DISABILITY DAY 

International Day of People with Disability

December 3 is the International Day of People with Disability and Kew High held an event to highlight the day.

 Teachers and students alike joined in challenging activities and distributed promotional products. The PE Department organised games such as ‘wheelchair tennis’ and obstacle courses. People found themselves being led around a course while blindfolded and having to completely trust their partner. They also played tennis while seated and without their usual mobility. These activities enabled students and staff to experience the world from another aspect.

 Thank you Tom Williams from the PE Department for arranging the games. Thank you also to the team of SRC students who distributed the products and engaged the students in the activities.
