Year One/Two News 

The Year 1/2's had a great day on Tuesday 22/2/22! We worked with a partner and recorded all the ways we could represent two. It was great collaborative work and there were many delightful cries when yet another way to represent two was discovered.

All students have now been given their Reading Diaries to record their home reading. Please support your child to complete their nightly reading by setting aside a suitable time to listen to your child read and discuss with them what they have read. The Year 1/2 teachers will initial them once a week and write a comment in the diaries fortnightly.

From next week each class will be visiting the kinder to share their love of reading with a kinder buddy. It is a great chance for them to practise reading a book to a little person.
