Learning Enhancement Program

Learning Enhancement Program

This year Great Ryrie is really excited to be able to provide students with Learning Enhancement Program. The Learning Enhancement Program (LEP) is designed to be in small groups where there is a focus on a particular point of need in the curriculum area and students selected based on the data. The LEP supports the classroom program. This program is designed to be a learning sprint, so the students involved will be participating over a set period of time. We are very pleased to be able to support student’s learning in this way as their education and wellbeing is our priority.

The LEP is an initiative from the Department of Education to ensure that all children reach their full potential. As a school we have embraced this opportunity to provide this tailored program and have committed two of our expert teachers Peta Dal Pra and Jessica Steer to facilitate and run the learning throughout the year. Peta Dal Pra and Jessica Steer are well known to our school community and also have worked across multiple year levels and so they have extensive knowledge of both the curriculum and the students' needs.

Peta and Jessica are looking forward to making positive growth in Reading and Maths with the students they work with.
