This year, our classroom teachers will be sending information packs to families regarding the school year. Teachers will then be available for a meet and greet session next week for parents and caregivers to come and meet the teacher. Sessions will be held outdoors on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd February, with masks mandatory for all adults on site. Cold water and fruit boxes will be available, and your children are also able take you for a tour of their classrooms if you choose to do so.
You will find teachers in the following locations:
Tuesday 22nd February 5:30pm – 7pm
Wednesday 23rd February 5:30pm – 7pm
Please note that our Reception families will be invited to an information session later in the term.
With the return to school for all students this week, we celebrate the roles of our student leaders for 2022.
School Captains
Community Leaders
We acknowledge the important role of all our Senior students who will serve as leaders of St Paul Lutheran School in 2022.
Our School Captains, Community Leaders, and all Senior students will be installed as leaders at St Paul Lutheran School during our Week 5 Chapel on Wednesday, 2 March. This will be live-streamed and recorded for our school community. Parents of these student leaders will be invited to attend this installation, with socially-distanced seating on the balcony and in the narthex (foyer). Photo opportunities will then be held outside.
During this term, I will be conducting enrolment interviews for new families who have applied to enrol for Reception in 2024. We provide priority entry to siblings if we have their information on file. If you are a current family of St Paul and believe you may not have completed an enrolment form for your younger child, please ask at the office for a form as soon as possible. If you would like to check that you have a form in, please ask Monique Tabuena to check for you: mtabuena@stpaulba.sa.edu.au.
Vacancies for Reception fill quickly each year, however there are some places for 2023, as well as places in some other year levels. If you have friends or extended family who are seeking a suitable place for their child’s education, we’d love you to direct them to us for a covid-safe tour.
