Help Needed

The greenhouse will need some watering too.

A Big Week In the Garden

Foundation, and grades 1,2,3,5&6 all circulated through the garden this week. We harvested cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli,  beetroot and carrot. We cooked beetroot risotto and ate baked cauliflower with chorizo and white sauce. We talked about the plant cycle and noticed some of the winter veggies were flowering ready to be pollinated to produce seeds.

Two grade 4 students counted the seeds collected from one of the giant pumpkins. There were 135 seeds collected. Pumpkin seedlings will be availableto buy at the fete.
