LIFESAVING

Lifesaving has kicked off again for 2022

on Tuesday afternoons.

Please see Mr James Cameron for a form if you are interested in getting involved in the program or get a form from the sports office.

The activities include surfing, snorkelling, board paddling techniques, first aid, CPR, rescue techniques and many other water-based activities.

At the end of the year students can attend the week long Portsea Lifesaving Camp where they will aim to gain Bronze Medallions.

RELAY FOR LIFE

This year SLC and Sports Leadership are organising our very own Relay For Life event as the Frankston Relay has been cancelled again. It will be held on the last day of term.

Friday 16 September from 4:30-9:30pm

We will begin on the athletics track at school where we will have our opening ceremony, walk/run some laps and hold a candle light ceremony. We will then head inside once it gets dark to have dinner and to play some games in the stadium and hold the famous lip sync battles. It would be great to see lots of staff involved in this wonderful event where we are aiming to raise over $10,000 for the Cancer Council. You can join our team at the link below and the cost is $30.

If you can’t make the event you’ll also be able to support our Relay by buying a sausage or something from the canteen at House Athletics Day. Please be mindful it will be cash only.
