La Trobe University: ’

Friday 19th August students bused over to La Trobe Uni Shepparton to partake in a Nursing Student Experience. This was a fantastic opportunity for students to be able to ask questions about how Uni works and pathways, what students need to do to be successful at Uni, and experience the nursing classes. In the ‘CLU’ Clinical Laboratory Unit, students had some hands on experiences. Students saved fake humans by doing CPR, monitored pulse and oxygen rates and made a sling for a broken arm. Students also learnt how easy it is to spread germs. The students came home with more knowledge about Nursing, the pathways to their goals and La Trobe University goodies.
